We spent six days in May with Danushka in Sri Lanka, and it was an absolutely amazing experience!

He’s such a friendly and kind person who knows a lot about the different places in Sri Lanka and always makes sure you feel comfortable and have a great time.

Our journey with Dhanushka started in Kandy and we had a 8 days trip going to Adam’s Peak, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Dambulla, Sigiriya and finally Pasikuda.

Dhanushka was super polite, friendly and always in good spirits. He was a super careful and punctual driver and we always felt safe with him. The car was very clean and comfortable as well.

Dhanushka is not only a great driver but also the best guide. He organized everything and knew what was worth seeing. On our safari, we saw around 100 elephants. He’s very fluent in English and always had nice stories and recommendations to share with us.

We were with Danushka for just under 2 weeks and he was the best. He was very friendly, spoke excellent English and was happy to accommodate whatever we needed. Couldn’t recommend more if you need someone to take you around Sri Lanka but also want to learn and immerse yourself in the country.

Danushka was with us (myself and my friend) as our Driver for 10 days, touring from Kandy to Sigiriya to Nuwara Eliya to Ella and finally to Unawatuna. Easy to communicate with, Danushka’s knowledge of English is excellent. Always respectful, courteous and considerate Danushka was more than a driver. His knowledge of Sri Lankan flora and fauna, customs and culture introduced to us a wider insight of the country, pointing out to us a rare creature, a cinnamon or pepper tree. As a guide we were given opportunity to visit for waterfalls, lakes that would otherwise have remained hidden to us; lost in the passing journey of the car from destination to destination. Danushka accompanied us wherever appropriate, sharing his knowledge of the particular monument or ancient site. We felt safe with Danushka, taken care of, looked out for. Making life easy seeking out a good price for a replacement phone charger when mine died! Always interested in exchanging information, bright and great company, Danushka was more than just a driver: guide, interpreter, good value excellent hotel finder, authentic Sri Lankan food and fruit introducer Danushka became a valued friend. It was truly an honour and a pleasure to have shared time with Danushka on our journey and genuinely sad to part ways when we did. It would not have been possible to experience the sights seen with such ease without a driver and car. If you are thinking to do the same, on your travels in Sri Lanka, do not hesitate to contact Danushka. Danushka provided us with a truly memorable and happy experience. We will be forever thankful.
